Meet The Team

Hi, my name is Ellen; I'm the founder of Divine Buzz, our team has been working together for over two years and has completed numerous funded and nonfunded projects. We've had highs and lows working together when we didn't have any funding and times when we did. This has enabled us to gain valuable experience and skills.

We've learned how to budget and make the most of scarce resources. We are able to involve our participants to assist with the projects. The team has excellent interpersonal skills, we are outgoing and can effectively communicate with the general public, and we are very creative when it comes to problem-solving. We are welcoming and accepting, and we treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation.

As a founder and member of the community, I am particularly interested in our programmes because I have firsthand experience with issues such as isolation, loneliness, discrimination, and limited opportunities for community engagement. Furthermore, there are few opportunities for children to engage in activities outside of the school curriculum, and I believe that community interventions for children should begin at a young age.

I reached out to these wonderful community leaders, who graciously accepted my challenge and agreed to join me in making a difference in our community. We all had similar experiences, which sparked our interest in community service. 

Experiences among the team are Multisport Coach, a Community Researcher, a Health Visitor, an Equality and Diversity Officer, a Stay-at-Home Mother, Finacial Planner, Children's Home manager, Radiography, and a Community Nurse.
